The licensing information published on this website is provided to NASBA directly from the official State Boards of Accountancy. The participating State Boards provide updated data in varying intervals ranging from daily to quarterly. The individual detailed reports display a date stamp to indicate the date the information being shown was received from the applicable State Board. The following State Boards of Accountancy are currently providing licensing data for CPAverify:

♦ Prior to 2006, the Illinois Board of Examiners issued certificates for passing the Uniform CPA Examination. Certificate holders were allowed to use the CPA title, but were restricted from performing attest services without obtaining a public accounting license from the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation. The records for these individuals who did not register with the IDPR after 2006, are not included in CPAverify.org. Those records can be searched at the Illinois Board of Examiners website.
